Our Favorite Beaches

Laketown Beach stands out for its privacy and small crowds. There is a massive dune to climb over to get there, which is probably why not many make the trek.

If you are looking to watch the sunset, Holland State Park is the best beach for you. It is easy to access, huge parking lot, and a pier to walk down to the lighthouse.

If you're a dog lover, Kirk Park is a beach in West Olive that allows your dogs to be off their leash from 7 am to 10 am & 6 pm to 10 pm. Other amenities are the playground, horseshoe pit, picnic tables, and grills along with modern restrooms.

Tunnel Park-

Located in Holland, Swimming beach, Children's playground with dune climb, Multiple picnic tables and grills, 4 sand volleyball courts and a horseshoe pit, Modern restrooms, Parking fees from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day

Duck Lake State Park-

Located in Whitehall, Swimming beach, Fishing, Boating/ Boat launch, Hiking trails, Picnic Area, Modern Restrooms, Dogs allowed on up to a 6ft leash, Recreation passport required for parking lot

Grand Haven State Park-

Located in Grand Haven, Swimming beach, Fishing, Lighthouse & Pier, Restrooms, Camping, Picnic Area & Grills, Playground, Recreation passport required for parking lot

Kouw Park-

Located in Grand Haven, Beach, Picnic Area, Playground, Restrooms, Free Parking

Oval Beach-

Located in Saugatuck, Swimming Beach, Picnic Area, Restrooms, Parking fees Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day

Olive Shores-

Located in West Olive, 20 acres mostly wooded, Swimming beach, Hiking trails and boardwalk, Stairways and decks with scenic views, Picnic tables, Modern restrooms, Parking fee Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day

Saugatuck Dunes State Park-

Located in Saugatuck, Beach 2/3 mile from the parking lot, Hiking trails, Rustic restrooms, Free Parking, Open year-round

North Beach Park-

Located in Ferrysburg, Swimming beach, Beach walkway, Dune stairs and scenic views, Playground, Modern restroom, Picnic tables and grills, Sand volleyball court, Parking fee Memorial day weekend through Labor Day

Windsnest Park-

Located in West Olive, Swimming beach, Playground (handicap friendly), Restrooms, Free parking
